- 1. Health work should always target the patient’s interest.
- 2. Obtain timely, compassionate and appropriate care regardless of race, religion, belief, sect, language, gender, age or disability.
- 3. To receive the integrated care necessary for his health condition.
- 4. Treating the patient well and in a manner that ensures that his dignity is preserved at all times and under all circumstances.
- 5. Keeping the patient’s private parts covered unless required by the necessity of treatment.
- 6. The treating physician must provide complete and up-to-date information to the patient or his legal guardian regarding diagnosis and treatment in simple and understandable language.
- 7. Know the name of the treating physician, nurses and those caring for them, and their job titles.
- 8. Identify and discuss the treatment plan and find out the alternatives, complications and risks with the treating physician.
- 9. Obtaining continuous and organized care and referral to different levels of treatment if necessary.
- 10. The patient’s prior written consent, based on his or his family’s knowledge, to perform any surgical or interventional procedure, anesthesia, or blood transfusion, except in cases of emergency or accidents that require immediate medical intervention in accordance with Sharia regulations.
- 11. Complete confidentiality of patient information and non-disclosure of any information except with his approval, except in judicial capacity.
- 12. Inform the patient or his legal guardian of the possibility of refusing all or part of the prescribed treatment in a manner that does not conflict with the applicable regulations and laws, and inform them of the expected results of the refusal decision, with the need for them to sign the relevant acknowledgment form. The patient or his legal guardian must also be informed of other alternative treatments in In the event of refusal, the hospital must follow up on his condition as much as possible.
- 13. The patient receives an assessment of the level of pain and appropriate treatment, and deals with him mercifully upon death.
- 14. The patient/legal guardian’s knowledge of the legal policies and requirements for organ donation.
- 15. The patient may submit an oral or written complaint or submit proposals to the management of the health facility or the ministry without affecting the quality of the services provided to him.
- 16. Health care must be in a safe and appropriate environment for the patient’s health condition and ensure that his property is protected from theft and loss.
- 17. The patient has the right to be protected from physical assault. Patients at risk are identified and protected from any additional risks.
- 18. The right to refuse to meet anyone who is not related to the provision of health care, including visits.

- 20. The right to obtain a second medical consultation if the patient so desires, and the health medical service provider may suggest the appropriate health practitioner.

- 25. The patient has the right to obtain a detailed invoice for the additional services that were provided to him.
- 26. The patient has the right to obtain a free upgrade to the quality of hospitalization in the event that the quality of hospitalization is not available according to his insurance category.
- 27. If the insured requests that the medicine be dispensed under a specific brand name, the participation rate is applied as specified in his policy (50% of the price of the medicine).
